50 Cent VS Master P.
It looks like 50 Cent's recent remarks about Master P (50 said Master P doesn't sell CDs anymore) have forced P to take the G-Unit General to war. Master P, who insists that his new project is more about providing listeners with a positive alternative than it is about sales, has now picked September 4--the newly announced release date for Curtis--as the street date for his next album, Hip-Hop History.
"This record isn't about making money, it's about providing a choice, changing, and hopefully saving lives," says Master P in a statement. "Before we condemn others for making a change, we should take a look in the mirror and ask ourselves, what are we doing? Are we a part of the problem or are we a part of the solution?"
In his defense, 50 Cent commented (on BET's Rap City) that Master P is being hypocritical by playing the bad-rapper-turned-good position after years of vulgar lyrics.
So, which album will get your hard-earned dollars on that day? 50 Cent's Curtis or Master P's Hip-Hop History
